The GP Unique
In terms of hot hatchbacks go, you'll be hard pushed to find one more aggressive than the GP Unique. It has big intakes, arch extension and a two part rear wing. These are features normally reserved for French unicorns.
Thankfully the GP Unique doesn't just look mean; it also feels incredibly fast. The engine is smooth and powerful with its 332lb ft of torque arriving with little effort from a speed of just 1,750rpm, and it's well matched to the quick-shifting six-speed automatic gearbox. It's a shame the GP Unique doesn't have a manual option however Mini makes no bones about its focus on lap times, and an auto is definitely the best option here.
There are some flaws. For starters, the GP Unique's passive damping is a bit stiff, but not terribly engaging. When you drive on a straight and smooth B road, the chassis dynamic limits can be easily stretched, but it's difficult to keep the car in line with your inputs. The front end becomes a bit snatchy, and the car struggles when under pressure by irregular British bumps.
Fortunately the GP Unique's performance is fantastic once you adjust it. Its front and body control remind us of the JCW racecar we drove last season. It's an absolute pleasure to drive on a slick road, and especially when you're in a determined mood.
The car's chassis feels very different to that of the standard MT-09 due to the fact it has much more torsional rigidity and bigger axles. The new GP's 24.7 degrees of rake and 108mm trail, feel more pronounced on the nose when as compared to the R6. But it also results in amazing stability when turning.
The PO Generator module is a great feature in GP. This module lets you examine your inventory as well as the min/max levels you've set for each item, and any open POs that your vendors have (i.e. more inventory is coming) and then generates suggested purchase orders that you can forward to your suppliers.

The GP500 also displayed subtle rainbow colors when viewing the Adam Project. They were easy to spot however they did not affect the viewing experience.
The sound is also impressive and the GP500 comes with an independent onboard DSP chip with TreVolo psychoacoustic tune that works to create 3D audio effects. It has an internal quad speaker layout that is placed in the corners of the cabinet. They are designed to create a full sound field for all users regardless of their seating position in the room.
There are various connectivity options that include HDMI inputs 1 3, 2, and 3 and an optical Toslink SPDIF port for passing native Dolby Atmos bitstreams to an external sound bar. The GP500 features two Type-A USB 2.0 ports to stream content. It also has a 12-volt screen trigger.
